Founder Engine

Grow revenue without growing headcount.

Founder Engine puts AI to work inside your team, on your real work, so your people produce far more and you grow without hiring more. We start with growth, then make the whole business lean, and we leave the capability behind when we go.

The market

84% of the world hasn't started yet.

In February 2026, a chart by Damian Player started circulating. 2,500 dots. Each dot representing 3.2 million people. 8.1 billion humans, colour-coded by their most advanced AI interaction. The picture is stark.

2,500 dots. 8.1 billion humans. Colour = most advanced AI interaction.

84% never used AI (~6.8B) ~16% free chatbot users (~1.3B) ~0.3% pay for AI (~15-25M) ~0.04% coding scaffold (~2-5M)

Each dot is ~3.2 million people. That single red dot? The people building with AI coding tools. 0.04% of humanity.

The 84% is not a problem to solve. It's a market to serve.

Founder Engine is built for the grey dots. The founders who know AI could help them, but don't know where to start, don't have time to learn twelve new tools, and won't pay thousands a month for a consultant to tell them to use ChatGPT more.

The research

AI adoption is concentrated in tech. Everyone else is barely using it.

Anthropic analysed millions of real Claude conversations and mapped them against 800 occupations. Tech workers are 3% of the workforce but generate 37% of all AI usage. Most of the economy is invisible.

That gap between blue and grey? That's the opportunity we're built for.

The win for your people

AI skills are now a pay rise.

The fear is that AI takes jobs. The data says the opposite: the market now pays a premium for people who can use it, and that premium tripled in a year.

34%

The average UK wage premium for workers with AI skills. It was 11% a year ago. In consumer-facing sectors it reaches 64%.

+61%

Growth in UK job postings asking for AI skills in 2025, while overall vacancies fell 6.6%. The growth is people who apply AI in their field, not developers.

AI mentions in marketing job ads doubled in twelve months, from 8.4% to 14.9%. The same shift is happening in every knowledge role.

Your company grows without growing headcount. Revenue per head goes up. So does what you can pay the people who did it.

That's the deal we set up inside your business. The company wins because it grows lean. Your people win because they build the one skill the market now pays a premium for, on real work rather than a training course. And the ambitious ones who might have left for an "AI role" somewhere else? They're already in one. Win, win, win.
